Programs

What the program is.
What it is not.

A 12-week structured resistance training cohort, delivered virtually, with a qualified coach and a peer group. Not a subscription. Not a fitness app. Not a gymnasium. A curriculum applied to the evidence base for sarcopenia prevention in adults 55–70. Grant-supported — no participant fees.

Who it's for

Adults 55–70, anywhere in Canada.

This program is designed for adults who are not yet experiencing significant functional decline — but who want to build the muscle base that prevents it. No prior experience with structured resistance training is required.

We serve a population that commercial fitness does not: adults who face barriers to gym access, who benefit from peer accountability and professional coaching, and who need a curriculum — not just a workout app.

Peer group accountability is an independent predictor of program completion. The cohort model also reduces per-participant cost to a level grant funding can sustain at scale. This is a design decision, not a compromise.
